Popping is the quintessential fishing in Costa Rica. Along the beaches, behind the breaking waves, on the rocky points as well as on the isolated rocks in the open sea, you can use your heavy and light poppers, to vary the pleasures.
The stickbait, a very effective lure in clear and shallow water, will allow you, for example, to attract rooster fish, the emblem of Costa Rica, as well as snapper, baracud, grouper
Predators that will give you great fights !
Thanks to the fishing trip that we offer, you will also have the pleasure of popping in offsore on yellowfin tuna and other kingfish hunts.
Jigging and slow jigging : inshore vertical fishing
jigging offers Costa Rica many beautiful catches. We are looking for submerged or isolated rocky points, to find grouper, roosterfifh, snapper, amberjack and many more!
My Fishing Trip lends you all the necessary equipment for a successful day and fishing trip, whether you choose popping, jigging or inshore trolling. You can however use your own equipment.
inshore trolling : a bote equipped for a day of fishing
You can start your day by fishing some live baits (sardines ...), which we will store in an oxygenated tank. They will be used to catch beautiful catches a little later in the day: by letting them hang behind the boat designed specifically for fishing trips, you will catch skipjack, jacks, barracuda, snapper and roosterfish.
This fishing technique is authorized only with circle hooks, which allow the catch to be released.
